Using a counterflow heat exchanger
The typical application of RECUTECH counterflow heat exchangers is represented by compact heat recovery units, from the smallest air flow rates (100 m3/h) to rates around 10,000 m3/h. However, when applied in air handling units they not only achieve these rates, but much higher ones, too.
The main reasons for using RECUTECH counterflow heat exchangers in recovery units are their high heat recovery efficiency and absolute minimum internal unit leakage. A heat exchanger’s leakage rate is one of the main indicators of production process quality. At RECUTECH, the leakage rate of each produced heat exchanger is tested and guaranteed. This makes our heat exchangers unique.
Our customers are mainly manufacturers of residential and light commercial air handling units, seeking the best-quality key components for their final products.
However, our heat exchangers can also be found in less typical applications, e.g. decentralized heat recovery units, adiabatic cooling systems, data centre and server cooling applications, dehumidifying units, etc.
