RECUTECH counterflow heat exchangers earned several internationally recognized certificates that confirm the top quality of our products.
EUROVENT
The Eurovent certification has become major standard and mark of quality for many HVAC products, including plate heat exchangers. RECUTECH have all the aluminium and plastic heat exchangers Eurovent certified.
VDI 6022
An accredited certification according to VDI 6022 guarantees that the product meets the market’s most stringent hygiene requirements. Our certificate was issued by Hygiene-Institut des Ruhrgebiets, Institut für Umwelthygiene und Toxikologie.
RLT
We are proud to bear RLT-Richtlinie certificate issued by TÜV SÜD. Similar to Eurovent, it proves accuracy of technical data we publish as well as highest quality of the production.
AHRI
RECUTECH are the only European manufacturer of aluminium counterflow heat exchangers certified by AHRI, enabling us export widely to the North American continent. Majority of our plastic heat exchangers are also AHRI certified.

EAC
ЕАС is a certification mark to indicate products that conform to all technical regulations of the Eurasian Customs Union. Having the certificate enables us export to countries within the Union, including Russia.
CE
CE marking is an administrative marking that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area.
RoHS
RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances and originated in the European Union in 2002. It restricts the use of hazardous materials, like cadmium, lead, mercury, chromium or various phtalates, found mainly in electrical and electronic products. All applicable products in the EU market since July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance.
Related to RoHS is WEEE, which stands for Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment. WEEE directive mandates the treatment, recovery and recycling of electric and electronic equipment.
REACH
REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It entered into force on June 1, 2007.
UL 723
The membrane used in our enthalpy heat exchangers is compliant to class A according to the UL 723 Surface Burning Characteristic of Building Materials test performed in Intertek.
Classification of reaction to fire
Classification of reaction to fire in accordance with EN 13501-1:2019. RECUTECH plastic heat exchangers are classified E in relation to their reaction to fire behaviour.
POPs
POPs are organic substances that are harmful to organisms and the environment and persist in the environment for long periods of time. The POPs Convention is designed to eliminate the production, use, import and export of POPs.
