At Recutech we have a motto: Quality cannot be achieved merely through Control checkpoints. It has to be designed into the production process. Even with good, effective quality control, well described work processes and ISO 9001 quality monitoring system in place, the overall quality is a long and hard task to achieve and retain.
Routinely performed work may be effective for a while, but later it tends to slip into stereotype and errors. Errors mean a drop in efficiency and ultimately a loss for the entire company.
For these reasons, we focus on proper and regular training of our employees, fostering a culture of problem ownership and process of ‘‘feedback loop‘‘ to find and eliminate the source of the problem. This allows us to understand and learn ways to improve the original production process, so future quality improvements can be designed into the process.
In order to motivate our employees to ensure overall product quality, we have been using a reward system for great ideas based on KAIZEN system of continuous improvement. If an employee has an interesting idea for improvement, a proposal is submitted and when approved, an employee is paid a financial reward based on expected contribution to our company.
To support growth within a company, after passing the qualification tests, an employee might advance to a higher job position associated with both higher responsibility and higher financial remuneration.
Final and most crucial quality control check of our product is a tightness testing as per Eurovent specifications. Each exchanger produced in Recutech is equipped with a Product bar code label used for correct identification with all vital information and traceability throughout the whole manufacturing process. At the end of the production process, all exchangers are tested for tightness to ascertain that there was no error during the production, possibly causing some form of leakage or reduced efficiency. A product label with measured values is then printed out and stuck on a particular heat exchanger.
Before the final packaging, the entire exchanger is cleaned and last check is done whether it contains all the necessary details according to the given technological process and the customer’s requirements. A quality control label is then attached with a name and signature of a Controller.
In addition to ISO 9001, 5S organization system is implemented to maintain organized, safe, clean and efficient workplace. 5S system is inspected every month to ensure that our work standards and good practices are well adhered to.
Our ultimate goal is a satisfied customer. In the event of any problems with our product, we have a Complaint registration system in place where we analyze any deficiencies or shortcomings of our products. As a result of all efforts put in, we can achieve mere 0.3% of claims.
