We don’t stop planting trees

This is how our rowanberries have grown beautifully and produced fruit for several years in a row. The avenue has also won the Silver County Avenue of the Year 2019 award.

And why does it make sense?

• A mature tree can hold more than 15,000 litres of water a year and humidify the air at a rate of up to 400 litres a day. 

• A mature tree can produce oxygen for 50 people a day and absorb 22kg of CO2 a year. 

• The tree is also home to many species of animals – for example, between 500 and 1,000 insects can be found on a single oak tree. 

• Trees also reduce the amount of pathogenic bacteria in an area by 10-20%.
