Modern production technologies

Our automated production is a comprehensive and sophisticated system that provides us with important information about the current status of our production processes any time. Have a look at the production of our recovery heat exchangers.

Heat exchanger production starts with the pressing of aluminium plates in our fully automated pressing shop, equipped with modern pressing lines.

Each line consists of a press, material feeding equipment, a KUKA robot that removes the finished plates, and a conveyor system for processing aluminium waste. The line operator only supervises the operation of the machinery.

Assembling plates


The next production step is assembling the plate at the specified height of heat exchanger according to your request. This operation is performed by specially developed, automated, 3rd generation machines which directly communicate with our ERP information system via dedicated software.

Bar code readers are used for ease of communication and entering data correctly into machines. The whole production process is thus very precise and focused, with an emphasis on the quality and efficiency of the various production operations.

Heat exchanger casing


Successful plate assembly is followed by the gluing of heat exchanger casings. This process is also automated and is executed by ABB and KUKA robots on an automatic gluing line. First, a special sealant is applied to the heat exchanger faces on a 2D table, and then the heat exchanger sides are glued by a hotmelt adhesive in an automated line.

To ensure a stronger bond in the casing, all guide locks are fitted with rivets. The whole process is monitored again, and the aluminium casing is glued according to data read from the bar code of the prepared semi-finished product (plate assembly).

Leakage testing


Finally, the product parameters must be tested. To ensure top quality, we measure the leakage of every heat exchanger we produce. The customer therefore knows that the supplied heat exchanger meets the EUROVENT standard requirements.

All data from the measuring station are stored to ensure traceability. Then the plastic film covering the casing, which protects the aluminium part of the heat exchanger against fouling and damage throughout the production process, is removed.

Now ready for delivery, the product is carefully packed into solid packaging by our packaging machinery.
